The Fortson 4-H Center is one of five 4-H centers in Georgia, United States. It offers both day programs and one-week residential programs. Students from all over Georgia attend the Fortson 4-H Center.

Position Summary

Work involves food preparation, food serving, cleaning the food service areas and facilities. Employees work under direct supervision. Employee follows written and/or oral procedures and practices. Employee implements procedures, methods, and activities developed by others.

Skilled in reading, writing and simple math. Ability to follow written and oral directions.

Physical Demands

This position will require light lifting, prolonged standing, and walking.

Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers from young children to senior citizens.

Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building.
