Bachelor’s degree in Education, Natural Science, Environmental Education, Biology, Outdoor Education or related fields preferred.

Position Summary

This is a seasonal position responsible for delivering environmental education classes for youth grades K-12 at Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton, GA, just south of Atlanta. The primary responsibility is to independently lead classes with a focus on ecology, team building, living history and outdoor skills. Other responsibilities involve animal care, maintenance of facilities and grounds, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Must be able to work in adverse physical and weather conditions and walk often throughout day to fulfill job responsibilities. Be able to lift approximately 50 pounds.
